WELCOME TO THE A. PHILIP RANDOLPH TIGERS YOUTH TACKLE FOOTBALL

The A. Philip Randolph Tigers were establish in September of 2016 as a Youth Leadership and Development Program that promoted Educational Advancement, Health & Nutrition, Leadership, Community Service, and Football in a non contact environment. It was set up to give inner city youth who were recreationally, socially, and economically deprived the ability to play youth tackle football. The program was named after a former player our Head Coach coached in 1987-1993 named Octavius Bacon who died from HLH Disease. This is how our leadership program came about and is now known as Football 101: The Octavius Bacon Leadership Program.

The Southeast Bronx Youth Coalition Inc & P.S. / I.S. 76 collaborated in the Spring of 2017 and formed the A. Philip Randolph Tigers Youth Tackle Football Program. The program started with 14 participants and currently serves about 90 youth participants. Both organizations are 501(c)3 and all donations are tax deductible
